Annie's 2nd Litter - Pictures!

We have pictures of Annie's second litter up! All the puppies are doing very well with the careful supervision of their mother.  These pictures are from today, not yesterday, when they were born.  Those will come out in a different post, along with a little video of the puppies on their birthday :)

So for all of you who are ready to see them, here are the pictures :)

 

Annie gave birth to her first puppy, a brown female who's named Sophie, at 12:42pm - Tuesday, weighing 13oz.

 

 

She then gave birth to her second, a black male who's named Wyatt, at 1:22pm, weighing 13oz.

 

 

Her third puppy was a white male who's named Rudy.  He was delivered at 1:42pm, weighing 12oz.

 

 

Annie's fourth puppy was a white female who's named Dixie.  She was delivered at 2:50pm, weighing 15oz.

 

 

The fifth puppy born was a white male who's named Cody.  He came at 3:39pm, weighing 16oz.

 

 

The sixth puppy was a black female who's named Dakota.  She was delivered at 5:08pm, weighing 11oz.

 

 

Interestingly enough, all the females were born breeched.  Their mother Annie did an amazing job throughout her time of labor and is doing extremely well today.  She enjoyed some vanilla ice cream in between babies :)

 

 

As you can tell from the pictures, all the babies have already skilled themselves at nursing :)

So as you can see, mother and puppies are all doing very well! They have wonderful appetites and beautiful coloring.  We're all so excited with their health and that Annie had a quick birth.  We will post more pictures very soon!
